Space grade optics, environmental/electrical/mechanical testing
Created test procedures and fixtures for bed-of-nails pcb testing, collaborated on equipment needed for environmental testing, provided support from prototype to production. Worked with teams to establish thermal vacuum testing equipment requirements, acquisition of equipment, build of chambers and creation of testing procedures.
RF low volume high mix quality control
Worked with design, systems integration, manufacturing, quality, vendors, and product test teams to determine critical characteristics over a variety of products to increase overall first pass yield by 10%. Bottleneck resolved was due to outside vendors and internal process controls.
Technical Advising for AI
Currently advising clients on the state of AI. Chip manufacturing, power consumption, space applications, data centers, edge AI, software shifts, cloud security, and other relevant data within the industry.
Radar, antenna, and antenna testing design (Team of 3)
Worked with industry RF expert to create multi-beam phased array antennas, radar-based antenna testing device, and over 10 types of antennas. Completed RF calculations to create mechanical drawings for simulations and manufacturing. Developed the manufacturing, quality control, testing, and assembly processes for reliable products. Implemented controls for production scalability using DFMA techniques.
